Catering to a wide range of styles, abilities and age groups, Bill is a patient, fun, and motivating instructor. He currently teaches out of his home studio in the Seabright neighborhood of Santa Cruz and also conducts online lessons via Skype, FaceTime, and Zoom.
Equally at home guiding beginners through their first steps or presenting new challenges to advancing players, Bill’s passion for the guitar and music is infectious, and his reservoir of knowledge is deep.
Beyond Guitar
In addition to teaching guitar, Bill also works with students on other musical topics such as music theory, songwriting, digital audio, sound design, and live looping techniques. Bill is an active studio musician and performer in the SF Bay Area. He also loves working with other musicians online from all over the world. He's been a regular performer at the Y2K International Live-Looping Festival.

Bill is also a highly valued consultant for top-of-the-line audio equipment manufacturers and a technical/audio consultant for fellow musicians around the world.
